Description
At some point in their lifecycle, many assets will reach the point where they need some sort of repair. At this point they will be taken out of active service, and perhaps swapped out with a loan device or another piece of equipment to ensure continuity of service.
An efficient asset repair process should aim to minimise the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of the equipment, ensuring that an asset is only repaired if it is economical, and that assets are repaired and returned to service in a timely manner.
